Lazy 5 Ranch Trip

Mom, Dad, Lindsey, and Lucas came to town for an "almost time to go back to school" trip to the Lazy 5 Ranch. We said from the beginning of the summer that we would have to watch the weather and pick a cooler day to visit. We were definitely in luck with our weather today. It was only 75 degrees, cloudy, but no rain. We made a reservation for a wagon ride through the ranch for 10:15. We got the ranch a little early so we could visit some of the animals before our wagon ride. Of course my camera battery was dead when we got there so these are the pictures from my sister's camera. I'll have to get Mom and Dad's pictures too because they have the best ones. The kids were not scared at all--well, except for the ostriches and emus but who isn't afraid of those creepy, beedy red eyes and that sharp looking beak! Olivia and Lucas spent their time feeding the animals, making animal noises, and Lucas even got to help drive the wagon! Enjoy these adorable pictures.
