Circus

We went to the circus the last weekend of January. We were supposed to go last year, but we got snowed in. We got there early so that we could see the pre show events. Lots of the performers and some of the animals were down on the floor and talked to everyone. We got to see one of the elephants paint, up close and personal. We also got to see some of the clowns do some skits and other performers do some dancing and tricks.

We wound up with really great seats. We were about 6 rows up and right in the middle. Olivia did great during the show. She got to try cotton candy for the first time, which she preferred for me to feed her. We went to the 1:00 show so she missed nap time. She fell asleep during the motorcycles that drive around in the big metal ball (I'm not really sure how, with all the noise) and slept through the intermission just in time to see the elephants. She was very quiet and watched everything! On the way home, she was asleep pretty much before we got out of the parking deck. We had a great time. Here are a few pictures.
